This qualification is designed for learners who are new to using ICT and who wish to gain nationally recognised qualifications.

Length of course

36 weeks x 2 hours per week

Course content

To achieve the qualification, you’ll need to complete tasks from a range of modules including:

• word processing software
• using the Internet
• using email
• presentation software
• spreadsheet software
• desktop publishing software
• database software

Entry requirements

No prior experience or knowledge of ICT is required, but mouse and keyboard skills would be desirable.

The cost of the course is £272.40. This includes tuition, materials, and registration fees with the awarding body.
