We are an approved wedding venue

Looking to get Married?

Barnsley Council has suspended all wedding and civil partnership ceremonies up to the end of June and should have already contacted couples to either cancel, or rearrange for a later date.
Like all of us, they are keeping an eye on further guidance from the government and may have to extend this date.
As a precaution, they will also be contacting everyone who has a booking between now and 1 October 2020 to discuss your options. This could include rearranging to a later date and even another venue such as Mapplewell & Staincross Village Hall, if that’s what you would prefer.
They won’t be accepting any new ceremony bookings to take place before 1 October 2020, either online or over the phone. But you are still able to use their online booking form to book a ceremony from 1 October onwards, but this may be subject to change following government advice about COVID-19.
We are also allowing couples and families to visit the Village Hall (as we’re large enough to keep a social distance) to view us as a possible venue. Yes we are an approved venue and you can hold the ceremony, have your wedding breakfast and evening event here.
Through this closure we have been working on our packages and can provide a full colour coordinated package for 50 wedding guests, a two course wedding breakfast and evening buffet and disco, with bar, for less than £2,500.
